Wow, March is almost here and we are starting to see some 50 degree days here in the Lexington Kentucky Area. We still have a lot to do before opening our Garden Center March 2nd so that you can purchase all your Spring Pond Maintenance supplies. Additionally, you won’t want to miss our new indoor display pond. We get a lot of customers in the store that have Bare Liner Ponds with a UV filter or maybe no filter at all. Our new indoor pond is divided into 2 sections. Half is constructed using our tried and true Organic approach to Water Gardening with Rocks, Gravel and Plants to filter the water and keep it healthy and clear. The other half is a Bare Liner Pond with an Aquascape pressurized UV filter attached. This system, when properly sized, will also keep your pond clear and healthy.
If you are in Kentucky and are considering building a pond then you will definitely want to come down and compare the 2 filtration options working side by side.
